# Tentacles IoT

> Wireless substrate and soil moisture sensors for horticulture, plant irrigation, and public green space. Designed, manufactured, and shipped from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, since 2016.

## About

Tentacles IoT B.V. is a Rotterdam-based sensor company that builds rugged, wireless 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 soil/substrate sensors (3XT-M, 4XT-M, XT-Tree) and a cloud dashboard called MyTentacles. The sensors continuously measure substrate moisture, EC (electrical conductivity), and temperature, and the 4XT-M adds soil temperature as a fourth channel. Data is delivered over LoRaWAN, Helium, 30MHz, or Sigfox networks to the MyTentacles dashboard, where growers, irrigators, and green-space managers see real-time conditions, trends, and alerts.

3-in-1 wireless substrate sensor measuring volumetric water content (VWC), electrical conductivity (EC), and substrate temperature. Designed for greenhouses, vertical farms, and potted-plant production. LoRaWAN / Helium compatible. Battery life 3+ years.

### 4XT-M
4-in-1 sensor adding a dedicated soil-temperature probe to the 3XT-M channels. Used in substrate slabs, container nurseries, and research applications. Same wireless options.

### XT-Tree
Robust sensor for in-ground tree and landscape installations. Designed for long-term burial, deep-root monitoring, and public-space deployments.

### MyTentacles
Cloud dashboard at dashboard.mytentacles.com with sensor maps, real-time readings, trend charts, alerts, and multi-user access. Free with every sensor.
